Paula Kautzmann, Chief Information Officer, is responsible for managing the development and execution of Colorado Access's IT goals, which include providing vision and leadership for IT operations and corporate infrastructure, and for developing and implementing IT strategies. Supports corporate growth and strategic initiatives.
Paula’s experience includes more than two decades in Medicaid health plans, where she developed and maintained successful IT programs that meet regulatory, financial feasibility, and quality of plans.
Prior to joining Colorado Access, Paula served as Chief Information Officer at Plan Peninsula Health in Marquette, Michigan, a company where she worked for more than 20 years. While there, Paula led all IT operations for the health plan, managed millions of dollars, and created or streamlined processes that bring great value to the company. As such, Paula received an award from the Board of Directors for "innovating and using new technology to drive cost-effective business expansion for health plans" during the plan period. Paula excels in establishing strong internal and external partnerships and is successful in identifying new areas of business expansion using technology solutions.
Paula holds an Associate Degree in Computer Science from the Las Vegas Business College and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Networking and Management Systems from Michigan Technological University.
