You should know that all keyboards have a standard layout of letters and numbers. Place your left hand on the keyboard. Set the little finger to the key with the letter A, the little finger to the key with the letter S, the middle finger to the key with the letter D and the index finger to the key with the letter F.

Now place your right hand on the keyboard. Place the index finger on the key with the letter J, the middle finger on the key with the letter K, the thumb on the key with the letter L and the little finger on the key with the letter Č or the colon a which indicates the letter č when you select the appropriate language. The position you just occupied on your keyboard is the basic typing position. In this position, the thumb of both the left and right hands remains free and serves to strike the space between them.

If you are a beginner in typing, it would be best to master typing these letters first, from a basic position. First type only the letters and then try to make words from those letters.
